CARING FOR THE CAREGIVERS

People are rarely prepared for the physical and emotional demands of caring for a bed-bound loved one. They can get overwhelmed, or worse, injured.

For 30 years, Hospice by the Sea, has taken good care of the family caregivers of our patients: Keeping them safe and boosting their confidence by teaching them how to manage medications, to easily turn and reposition people in bed, and to do everything else required for their loved one.

And now, to kick off our next 30 years, we are sharing our care-giving knowledge with ALL family caregivers through a 42-minute DVD, “A Lifeline for Caregivers.”  The 18 chapters of caring skills will be invaluable to anyone caring for a loved one confined to a wheelchair or a bed.

Our educational DVD, which is available in English or Spanish, is offered for a suggested minimum donation of $10 and we will mail it anywhere in the U.S.  Order copies for your relatives or friends who are caring for loved ones, too!
