Children experience loss differently than adults. Realizing this, in 1995
Hospice by the Sea launched Camp Good Grief, a weekend bereavement
camp for boys and girls ages 5-15.

The camp takes place twice a year, in the spring and fall. Located in a beautiful wooded
setting in Palm Beach County, it pairs fun and therapeutic activities, from swimming and
volleyball, to journaling, music therapy, and art projects. Through these activities, and
under the gentle guidance of volunteer and professional staff, children talk about their
grief, share their feelings, and find healthy ways to cope with their loss.

Camp Good Grief is free and is open to all children in our community. To learn more, or
